a bit of irony

In my last post, I wrote about our low levels of disaster preparedness. I then saw yesterday's paper.

On the front cover was a picture of the restored "1906" shack--one of thousands of single-family dwellings built in the aftermath of the great quake of a centry ago--that's being moved to downtown San Francisco to commemorate the events of a century ago.

Next to it was a map showing the location the shack is being moved to: right next door to TMP's San Francisco office.

So, looks like I'll have a place to stay. I don't know whom to thank, but thank you anyway.

Now, what about the rest of you?
