Eastern European Recruitment, Duncross Blog
One of the more interesting findings during my most recent sojurn to Eastern Europe was seeing the dramatic effect EU membership was having on Poland. According to one local source, 30,000 poles leave the country every month to work elsewhere. (Not pure emmigration: some of these workers commute with various periods of return.)
There's tremendous untapped--and under-employed--English speaking talent in Poland, so since my return, I've been thinking about this quite a bit and was really pleased to find this corporate blog specializing in "news and views on recruitment, business and life in Central and Eastern Europe."
Yes, it's to some extent a pitch for services, but Duncross offers a good aggregation of articles and views on the shifting EU labor market and the blog's POV is well aligned with what I saw and heard while there. Worth a read.

Hi David
Thank you for your comments on our blog. My thoughts were actually mirroring the point you brought up which is that blog lacks some focus in being a combination or articles about recruitment/migration patterns from Central Europe and also information/promotion for our company.
My plan was to probably remove the promotional stuff from the blog back to our website and keep the blog for articles and my thoughts on recruitment and migration which is a topic of interest to me anyway regardless of any publicity for our company. I would think this would give it more credibility in terms of positioning ourselves as having expertise in the region. Any thoughts would be well received!
All the best
Dan
