InnovationTour--TMP and Great Place to Work Institute
Over the next several weeks--late May to early July--TMP Worldwide will co-sponsor a series of 8 events with the Human Capital Institute (HCI) and The Great Place to Work Institute (GPTWI) called "Leadership In Action - Your Role in Creating a Great Place to Work."
These half day events will feature a presentation by either yours truly or Rob O'Keefe on Employer Branding and a workshop by Hal Adler of the GPTWI. (I'll be leading the Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco session. Rob will be at the East Coast locations and Dallas.)
What's the point? In a nutshell, while many employers have the aspiration to make Fortune's Great Place to Work list, being a great place to work and getting on the list is only half the challenge: the other half of the challenge is telling your organizational story with messaging that's clear, relevant, resonant and--most importantly--differentiating. Which is, as you know, where brand research and positioning comes in.
So if you're interested in learning how GPTW and employment brand fit together, I hope you'll join us.
