David Kippen, Ph.D. |
David Kippen, Ph.D. serves as TMP Worldwide’s Vice President of Global Brand Strategy. Dr. Kippen leads branding and communications initiatives for TMP Worldwide’s largest accounts, with emphasis on integrating internal and consumer brand positioning, national and global employment brand portfolio management. Dr. Kippen also consults frequently on people strategy, colleague engagement, intra-corporate communications and internal/external communications organizational structure and alignment. His recent clients include: Burger King, Catholic Healthcare West, Chevron, Coca-Cola, Dell, E.ON, HSBC, Intel, Kaiser Permanente, Microsoft and T-Mobile. Dr. Kippen regularly presents on brand and communications theory at conferences and at one-day customized seminars for audiences ranging from practitioners to senior executive leadership. Recent venues have included the Chicago Graduate School of Business, the Huizenga Business School, Nova Southeastern University, U.C. Berkeley and UCLA and for numerous associations and professional conferences including The Conference Board, NCHRA SHRM, IABC and WP&BC. Dr. Kippen also holds leadership roles in several top associations that exist to support the HR and communications professions. He currently serves as President and Chief Executive of the International Association of Business Communicators' San Francisco Chapter (SF IABC), he is an active member of the SHRM's Special Expertise Panel on Consulting and Outsourcing, sits on the Board of Directors of the Western Pension & Benefits Conference (WP&BC) San Francisco Chapter, and is an active member of the Council of Communication Management (CCM). |
